John J. "Jack" McTague Award
Dr. John J. "Jack" McTague, Professor of History at Saint Leo University, was a long-time attendee of the Florida Conference of Historians. He passed away in 2022. Several colleagues and students contributed the seed money for an award in his name and memory. We acknowledge that the award was originally named after the late Dr. Douglas Astolfi, Professor of History at Saint Leo University, who passed away in 2018. At the 2023 annual meeting, the FCH Executive Board decided to create a grant award in Dr. Astolfi's name.
